IDEX-Germany Gas

Project Description

IDEX is an extension of standard component IDE of SAP IS-U, but for IDEX-GG this project, it’s a country specific solution in new energy market rule(Deregulation Market in all Europe Countries), the Change of Supplier is core business of IDEX-GG component, all SAP Utility customer can use this solution for incoming new business process, including RWE, E.ON, Gas De France etc. these customers.

IDEX-GG component was copied from IDEX-GE(Germany Electricity, Developed by IS-U Standard Team) component, but it includes a lot of Gas-Specific features, such as 17 legal market areas, gas can be stored long-term, gas distribution can be affected pressure, supply balance, backup supplier, and all these must has to be done in IDEX-GG component.

IDEX-GG is a internal project code in SAP Germany, also its a part of UCC(Utility Competence Center) , the following are similar project team:

Knowledge transfer from German Team(Onsite Germany).

Writing design documentation(Capacity Monitoring, Aggregation of Capacity Values, Settlement etc.)

Provide internal IS-U training for local project team.

Solution development, testing, delivery, and communication with Germany SAP CD(Custom Development).
