CMBC CoreBanking Project
August 2005
June 2005, i joined SAP Custom Development Department and then onsite SAP Labs India of Bangalore from August, worked with SAP Corebanking Core Design and Development team about 8 months.
CMBC(China Minsheng Bank Corp) and Accenture Signed a consulting contract for implementing SAP Corebanking Solution, AC responsible for overall implementation work.
Some big business GAPs between SAP Corebanking Solution and Customer Requirement was analyzed and translated into English by Accenture, then sending back to SAP Labs India for second review and providing a add-on development solution.
At the same time, Germany Postbank also has some requirements to be implemented, both customer requirements were merged and released into three common solution package to cover all these requirement, like Position Management, Disbursement Migration, Single Posting and Charge and so on.
June 2006
Onsite SAP Germany about 2 months, attending Germany Postbank acceptance testing phase and supporting key customer testing, and sending customer feedback to Labs India and keeping trace, until finished customer acceptance check.
March 2009, Join CMBC Project Team
My previous department manager got a resource request from SAP APJ Banking, and CMBC Projects needs 3 experts to supporting this project,three topics are NW Portal Implementation, and Business Workflow/Loan Management, Netweaver CE areas, duration about 4~7 months.
I have some project experiences of Loans Management module of IS-Banking, and attended the Postbank Project in 2005, and also familiar with SAP Business Workflow, so i fly to Beijing to start my new mission.
December 2009
After 8 months, i have finished my almost responsibilities on LM/CMS workflow, as my baby will come this world soon, so i have to back Shanghai to accompany with my WF and also waiting for that exciting moment, the following are my achievement:
- Setup LM/CMS business workflow implementation team.
- Conducted one weeks practices training of workflow design/development/configuration.
- Streamlined business workflow requirements of Loan Management and Collateral Management modules, including organization
structure and approval process of 500+ bank branches. - Leading LM/CMS workflow implementation, Supporting Customer SIT/UAT phase.

Actually, almost business processes related to Workflow part are finished in 2009, there are still some requirements change waiting for me.
August 2010
Take over whole SAP Portal part of CMBC CoreBanking project, responsible for CMBC back-office business platform(SAP Portal) implementation and architecture, this portal will be pure business process platform but not a internal information portal.
All back-office core business process would be accesses via this portal, i think that it will be first customer who use SAP Portal as core business platform but not a intranet information site, it is a big challenge for me and SAP Portal both, see this Link for detail http://liualex.com/archives/638.

First and Second round SIT/UAT are close to epilogue, and then a experimental unit test will be start from next month, a middle size branch will be a pilot test location.
November 2010
Tianjin Branch and its all sub-branches will be first-batch experimental test branch before CMBC Go-Live stage.

My Responsibilities and Deliverables
Leading SAP Business Process Management(ECC Business Workflow and NW BPM) implementation project of all core businesses of CMBC New SAP Corebanking system(Integrated scenarios more than 55 core business processes). Setup the workflow and portal implementation team, and planning development resource from customer, and implementation rough plan and task scope.
Conducting standard Business Workflow & BPM Workflow Training for this new team, Guiding the team to finish mockup practice/configuration, and workflow system administration.
Analyzing current organization structure and business process of Loan management(LM) and Collateral Management System(CMS) that related to workflow of CMBC, including all branch, and sub-branches within whole china area. (500 + Branches and 6500+ Business Positions)
Leading workflow team to defined CMBC organization structure design and naming-conversion in SAP system(Using Solution Manager – CUA to managing all organization unit and positions centrally, and synchronizing with multiple SAP Back-end System centrally).
Leading CMBC business workflow team to defined a detail requirement collection template, and implementing SAP business workflow of Loan Management and Collateral Management System according to requirement of key business user for CMBC all branches, guiding workflow team to implement the design documentation of all new developed business workflows, configuration and modification of SAP provided standard workflow template and program.
Supervising the progress of business workflow design,development and configuration, also assignment of implementation work packages, providing the technical support of workflow design, implementation, and communication with standard product development department.
Integration workflow of LM and CMS with front-end Portal via UWL configuration, enable CMBC end-user can access all workflow tasks from different back-end system via a single entry point.
Defect message scanning of MIT/UAT phase, and assign defects message to responsible person, and tracing schedule.
